Nurture Christ in every heart of every age through knowledge of the word, faith building and fellowship.
Sunday School
Families gather in the sanctuary. Children (Ages 3-10) are dismissed for Sunday School after Announcements and rejoin their parents at Sharing of the Peace. Sunday School is held in Fellowship Hall during 1st & 2nd Service, September-May. During the Summer months (June-August), Sunday School is offered during 2nd Service only. Lesson plans follow stories of the Bible, based upon an ELCA chapel resource.
Tweeners (Ages 9-14) meet in Pastor’s Office between services. Studies follow the lectionary, and each week’s scripture.
Family Faith Workshops
Offered The last Sunday of every month, for Families of all generations. Meeting in Fellowship Hall, we gather to share an activity and nurture Families in their Faith-building at Home. Based on the principle that the church is a living partnership between the ministry of the congregation and ministry of the home.
Work to support the Four Keys of practicing faith: Caring Conversations, Devotions, Service, Rituals & Traditions.
