Week One:  Seeds: Life Takes Root
Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

Questions:

• Name a Mentor who encouraged you in your life.

• Who taught you about God’s Word?

• Was there a time when you were not “good soil” for a seed that was planted in you?

Week Two:  Weeds:  We Trust the Harvest
Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

Questions:

• What are areas of disorder, pain, and sin that surround us?

• What are areas of beauty, promise and joy that surround us?

• How does faith help you preserve through tough and painful times as well as good and joyful times?

Week Three:  Growth:  Growing Season Changes the World
Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52

Questions:

• Can you think of a time when an act of mercy changed a life?  The World?

• How has a small art of love grown in you and changed your life?

• What does it mean to experience the kingdom of God here and now?

Week Four:  Feasts: Jesus Makes the Miracle
Matthew 14:13-21

Questions:

• Is it our natural tendency to hoard miracles, abundance, and gifts for ourselves!  Why or why not?

• With what gifts have you and/or your congregation been blessed?  How have you shared these blessings?

• Who are the “hungry crowds” in your area?

• How and what is Jesus calling you to share?
