Confirmation in the Lutheran Church is a public profession of faith prepared for by long and careful instruction. In English, it is called "affirmation of baptism", and is a mature and public reaffirmation of the faith which "marks the completion of the congregation's program of confirmation ministry".

Youth Activities
CELC Youth Service Project at New Dawn Sanctuary
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity
The CELC Youth group will be participating in a service project at New Dawn Sanctuary on February 21st, beginning at 10:00 AM. We invite everyone who is interested to join us and share in this meaningful experience.

About New Dawn Sanctuary
New Dawn Sanctuary is a community-supported organization, funded by donations and grants. They rely on the generosity of individuals and groups to continue their important work and volunteers.
​
Our Involvement
This marks the second time our group will be volunteering at the sanctuary, offering physical assistance to support their mission.
