School is out and summer break is here—but at Duet, we’re already preparing for the start of the next school year for the grandchildren and kinship children we serve.

Last summer, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we provided over 200 children with backpacks, school supplies, and gift cards. This year, our goal is even bigger—we’re aiming to support 300 children being raised by grandparents and other kinship caregivers throughout Maricopa County.

 

We invite you to join us in making this possible by:

Donating school supplies or gift cards, either by shopping our Amazon Wish List or dropping off items at the Duet office by July 7, 2025

Sharing the attached flyer with your network to spread the word

Referring grandfamilies to Duet—if you know of a kinship family in need, we still have space to welcome them into our program and include them in this year’s school supply distribution

 

Your support helps relieve a significant burden for grandfamilies—most of whom are on a fixed income and do not receive financial assistance through the foster care system.
